Strength and Conditioning Center
In the Summer of 2019 construction will begin on the brand new, state-of-the-art, strength and conditioning room in the Athletics Center at Notre Dame Academy. We are very excited about this new addition and expansion to our health, fitness, and athletics offerings! Health, wellness, and athletics are an important part of NDA's commitment to educating the 'whole person'. Through physical education and athletics, strong leadership skills are built, and students' self-esteem is nurtured and developed- a core component in educating adolescent girls.
"Providing a strength and conditioning facility reflects yet another dimension of the school's commitment to its students to 'teach them what they need to know for life,' said board member and graduate Maria Argento Perkins. “The new center complements and expands the outstanding program that Athletic Director Patricia Provost has developed to support students of diverse interests and abilities."
“This gives NDA a tremendous opportunity to take a giant step forward in our approach to helping young women reach their full personal potential,” said Patricia Provost Athletic Director. “The reality of a strength and conditioning routine can define a lifetime of benefits.”
Funding for the Strength and Conditioning Center was made possible by a grant from the de Coizart charitable trust and through our Play Like A Girl campaign.
