SPANISH III (Honors & Advanced)
Using the Internet, you will read current articles from any of the following Spanish-language newspapers and magazines. Then, using the provided outline pages, you will summarize the articles in your own Spanish. When we return to NDA in September, Señor will check the summaries and select two which you will tell the class about during our daily “Tertulia”.

B. To increase your exposure to “real-world” Spanish vocabulary,
C. To provide materials for speaking Spanish in class, and
D. To practice reading and summarizing techniques for the AP Exam.Guidelines:
A. You choose FIVE articles, at least a half page in length, dealing with different themes.
B. Dates of articles: One article should be from June publications, two from July and two from August. No two articles should be from the same date.
C. Print out the article.
D. Neatly complete the summary sheet as preparation to talk about the article.Grade value: 2.5% of the year’s grade. (The two summer projects combined are worth 5% of year’s grade.
Segments: A. Written summaries (neat and complete) = 30%,
B. Oral presentation (#1) = 35%,
