Notre Dame Academy is the only, Catholic, college-preparatory school for young women in central Massachusetts. The Academy is owned and operated by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. The faculty fosters inquiry, caring, personal growth and the strengthening of academic skills, service to others and Christian values in a small, caring environment.

Campus
In 2009, the Academy completed an addition to the academic building that includes a new multifunctional student center, the Lauring Music Room, an art center, the John and Virginia Flagg Art Gallery, the Kenary Terrace and expanded office space. The science laboratories and the Cuvilly Auditorium also underwent complete renovation. Building renovations included the installation of white boards and Smartboards in all classrooms, new flooring and paint.
The 12-acre campus includes the academic building, the athletic center, the Lucius Knowles Athletic Field, and Knollwood, the convent of the Sisters of Notre Dame.
