The library has just won a $1000 grant from the Central Massachusetts Regional Library System (CMRLS) to purchase audio books, primarily in the form of Playaways®, which are about the size of an MP3 or iPod and contain a narrated version of an entire book. Look for them in the library soon!

Sr. Justina Daley Library
The mission of the Sr. Justina Daley Library at Notre Dame Academy is "to insure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. The school library media program empowers students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information." NDA’s multi-level facility holds approximately 16,000 volumes. It is enhanced by a state-of-the-art computerized reference network. Computerized resources include the card catalog, multi-media encyclopedias, periodical/newspaper/current events, indices, college/career search, SAT program, word processing and full access to the Internet for curriculum-related projects. These programs and resources are upgraded annually. Special attention is given to assisting students in developing research skills.
