History of Knollwood Awards

The Knollwood Awards were established by the Board of Trustees of Notre Dame Academy to honor women whose commitment to their vocations and dedication to the service of others exemplifies the Notre Dame Academy tradition. The Knollwood Alumnae Award is presented to an alumna of Notre Dame who has distinguished herself in her work, her service to others, and in her service to Notre Dame Academy. The Knollwood Community Award is presented to a community leader whose demonstrated interest in education, service to the greater Worcester Community and achievements in her chosen life’s work identifies her as having the special kind of spirit that Notre Dame Academy strives to foster among its students.
The Awards are presented each fall at a special reception at Knollwood.
